• Scholarship

Each recipient will receive $1,000 per year for four years post high school graduation. The first recipient will be named for the 2022-23 academic year. A recipient will be added each year for a maximum of four recipients starting and continuing from the 2025-26 school year forward. The $1,000 scholarship will be broken up into two $500 increments. One check will be received by the student prior to the Fall semester while the second check will be received during Winter break prior to the Winter semester. These funds are to be used for school related expenses whether it is books, tuition, food, housing, or anything else seen fit by the awardee.

  • Mentorship

Awardees will be assigned a hands-on mentor by Canady. Canady will match mentors and mentees personally based on interest, career paths, and personalities. There will be mandatory monthly mentor-mentee check ins. The students will also have open access to Canady himself and his resources.

  • Interview Fund

Awardees will be eligible the summer heading into their junior year for the Interview Fund. This fund will be used for reimbursement up to a set dollar amount regarding our scholars purchasing clothes and/or shoes for interviews. This can be for internships or job opportunities until the awardee graduates with their undergraduate degree.

  • Wellness Counselor

Our wellness counselor is available to our students upon request. He will work with our students to help them overcome and manage different mental and emotional hurdles. His duties will include virtually meeting students to listen to their problems and providing resources to students to help them cope and strategically deal with their personal challenges.
